At Black Mountain Newfoundlands, we are committed to raising exceptional Newfoundland puppies that are as healthy as they are loving. Our dogs are bred for sound health, excellent temperament, and the calm, nurturing nature the breed is known for.

🐶 Exceptional Health & Lineage

Our Newfoundlands come from a long line of OFA-certified dogs, with excellent health histories. The grandparents and great-grandparents of our puppies have undergone rigorous testing, including:

• OFA certifications for hips, elbows, knees, and hearts

• Full DNA and genetic screening to ensure freedom from inherited conditions

We carry on that legacy with all of our current breeding dogs. Both our males and females have been genetically and DNA tested and are clear of hereditary health issues.

Our Newfoundlands are more than just beautiful—they’re family. Raised in a calm, loving environment, they are socialized with people and other animals to ensure they grow into confident, affectionate companions.

Our male and one of our females, Obi and Ania, are trained services and therapy dogs that work actively with clients in my counseling practice. Their gentle, patient temperaments are perfect example of what we aim to preserve and pass on in every puppy we raise.
